Description
Smart vintage c1980s (could be older) men's chocolate brown Polyester blazer. This single-breasted jacket is a regular 108cms (42") chest size. Other approximate measurements are as follows:-
A) Shoulder width - 18½ inches
B) Pit to pit - 21 inches
C) Nape to hem - 31 inches
D) Pit to cuff - 17 inches
E) Shoulder to cuff - 25 inches
The jacket sports three pockets to the front, one of which is a handkerchief pocket and two inside. It is double vented with original labels are insitu. There are two silver/gold tone metal buttons to the front and two on each cuff. The chocolate brown lining is also made from Polyester.
This piece is in very good vintage condition and has been machine washed on a cool cycle.
PROVENANCE:-
This jacket was originally owned by an ex-RAF serviceman who was a member of XI Squadron. The squadron is now based at Coningsby, Lincolnshire and had previously been at Binbrook. This brave man was awarded the Burma Star in recognition of his service in WW2.
