Gorgeous 1980s vintage ROSITA cream glass simulated pearl and peridot rhinestone bridal choker. This fabulous bridal choker necklace comprises four strands of lustrous creamy simulated pearls with central oval faceted peridot rhinestone surrounded by small simulated pearls, culminating in a single pearl drop. The pearls are set in gold tone metal.
The necklace, which measures approximately 12.5 inches (32 cms) in length, is secured by a spring ring clasp. There is also an extender backdrop, which adds an extra 2.5 inches (6 cms) to the length if needed. This piece is in excellent vintage condition and still has the original Rosita guarantee tag attached, although the guarantee has now expired. However, PLEASE NOTE that the choker has been restrung due to some verdigris damage to the calottes.
This beautiful choker is typical of the type of jewelry worn by the late Princess of Wales (Lady Diana) and it would be just perfect as either a bridal accessory for your Great Gatsby style wedding, or jewelry for an evening at the theatre, opera or ballet. It would make the ideal prom piece too!
Although the central green rhinestone looks emerald green in the photos, it is actually more like peridot in colour.
