Attractive vintage 1950s engine turned brass powder compact, made in England by Iris.
This vintage clam shell shaped compact comes with powder guard and small original powder puff, but no powder or sifter. The mirror is in excellent condition, with no foxing, scratches or cracks, although there is a little play, so the mirror does move slightly, but is secure in its setting. The outside is also in excellent vintage condition and the clasp is strong.
This piece has a solid weight to it and would make the perfect gift to yourself or a friend.
